Charter Boats

Winder Boats have kindly agreed to suppy a minimum of 3 Charter boats for the 2017 GUL Mirror Worlds & UK Nationals. They will be Winder's Championship Specification boats with RYA measurement certificates. Details in this letter from Winder Boats, the one charter fee covers both UK Nationals & Worlds. I understand (March 2017) that all three boats have now been taken. Winder won't build any more unless they can sell some of the Charter Boats to new owners (i.e. for delivery after the Worlds). 2016 Mirror Europeans at the Royal Cork YC, Ireland

John McGonigle, President of the International Mirror Association of Ireland tells me the event will be hosted by the Royal Cork Yacht Club

The address is Royal Cork Yacht Club, Lower road, Crosshaven, County Cork This is the oldest yacht club in the world and is located in a magnificent sailing area.

2017 GUL Mirror Dinghy Worlds

The 2017 GUL Mirror Dinghy World Championships will take place at Restronguet Sailing Club which is located near Falmouth in Corwall, United Kingdom. Restronguet Sailing Club has been established since 1933. The Club is situated a short distance from Mylor Yacht Harbour with its marina, boat repair and chandlery businesses, and offers superb sailing in the Carrick Roads (shown in the above photo).
The Club is pleased to be hosting the 2017 GUL Mirror Worlds &  UK Nationals and looks forward to offering visiting Mirror sailors eight days of competitive sailing and a variety of après sail social events.
This area of Cornwall offers beautiful coastal scenery and attractions such as The Eden Project (approx 60 minutes drive from the Club) or the surfing mecca of Newquay (approx 50 minutes drive from the Club). There are some suggested accommodation links here.
